Das ging beim virtuellen Tomorrowland 2021
„Amicorum Spectaculum“ lautete das Motto am vergangenen Wochenende beim zweiten virtuellen Tomorrowland Around the World. 35 Stunden Musik mit sage und schreibe 955 verschiedenen Tracks und 119 unveröffentlichten IDs spielten die rund 40 Künstler und eine Nummer wurde dabei besonders häufig gespielt: „Love Tonight“ von Shouse. Vor allem der Vintage Culture & Kiko Franco Remix hat es den DJs angetan – den haben wir zum Beispiel bei Robin Schulz, Lost Frequencies und selbstverständlich Vintage Culture gehört.

Mehr als 40 DJs, darunter Namen wie Afrojack, Alan Walker, Amelie Lens, Armin van Buuren, Charlotte de Witte, Kölsch, Lost Frequencies, Nicky Romero, Tale Of Us und viele mehr traten auf sechs virtuellen Stages auf, auf denen spektakuläre Spezialeffekte geboten waren. Und nicht nur den Zuschauern, sondern auch den Künstlern selbst hat es gefallen.
„Tomorrowland has given this gift to the fans to say to everybody: it's going to be all right – soon we'll be dancing together again. Also, to keep you up to date with the music, because it seems like there's no COVID-19 if you look online at the amount of music that's still being dropped... And I think that the music deserves it - to be played out. So that's why I'm glad Tomorrowland – Around the World is here.“

„It felt so good to be back on stage. I really had no idea what to expect from today. And even though this was a recording of a live stream, it didn't feel like that because of the amazing production. I was also interested to see how many calories I was burning, haha! I know that my resting heart rate is somewhere between 55 and 60. When I was on stage, I saw it peaked at 128/130. That means I was working hard!“
