Madeon hat endlich sein Album „Good Faith“ fertiggestellt und um das zu feiern, hat der DJ nun die Single „Be Fine“ veröffentlicht. Aber nicht nur das: Der Franzose liefert mit dem Song eine wichtigen Botschaft über seine psychische Gesundheit.
Madeon: „I have to tell you something…“
„I will be fine again“ heißt es in Madeons neuer Single „Be Fine“, die der DJ am Mittwoch veröffentlicht hat. Und in dieser Zeile steckt eine ganz große Aussage, denn für Madeon verlief das Jahr alles andere als gut.
Der DJ gab zu, dass er nach seiner Show auf dem Lollapalooza einfach nichts mehr gefühlt hat, depressiv und ausgelaugt war. Aus diesem Grund entschied er sich eine Pause einzulegen.
After the relief of debuting the show at Lolla I was more spent and depressed than I expected. I couldn’t feel anything at all. It felt wrong finishing and releasing music celebrating joy when I couldn’t feel that joy at all anymore. So I decided to take time and put everything on hold for a bit.
I felt like I had your permission. I think I have an audience with the patience and empathy to afford me the time to be healthy. That’s the the intimate theme of this work to me : making sense of joy, making sense of darkness. Along the way, over more than three years, Good Faith has been the horizon, the reason I would fight over and over again to get healthy.
Madeon ist zurück!
Anfang dieser Woche dann die erfreuliche Nachricht: „Victory!“ schreibt Madeon in seiner Message an seine Fans.
I want this album, this tour and all that will come after it to paint for you the picture that’s been vividly in my mind all this time. Now it’s going to stop being mine alone and start being ours. I feel relief and I feel purposeful. Victory ! Loveyou
Wir freuen uns, dass er seine Dämonen besiegt hat und wieder zurück ist – und das auch direkt mit neuer Musik. Mit „Be Fine“ liefert er einen Track, der gute Laune versprüht. Aber hört selbst:
Aber damit noch nicht genug mit den positiven Nachrichten rund um Madeon. Der Franzose hat auch sein nächstes Album „Good Faith“ fertiggestellt. Wir sind schon sehr gespannt auf das Album, denn die bisher veröffentlichten Tracks „Dream Dream Dream“, „All My Friends“ und „Be Fine“ klingen schon sehr vielversprechend. Ein genaues Release-Datum steht noch nicht fest.
